Mahira Khan, the famous Pakistani actress known for her remarkable performances in films such as “Raees” opposite Shah Rukh Khan, The Legend of Maula Jatt, Bol, Bin Roye, etc. surprised her fans by tying the knot with her longtime beau, Salim Karim, in an intimate ceremony.
Several photos and videos from the event have since gone viral on the internet, including one of Mahira walking down the aisle wearing a white lehenga with a matching veil. Salim, who is a wealthy businessman and CEO of Simpaisa, an online payment solutions startup, became emotional upon seeing Mahira walking towards him.
The two had been dating for several years after meeting at an event for the television application, Tapmad TV. In a 2020 interview, Mahira shared her feelings about Salim by saying, “I must have done something good in my life that God has sent him my way.”
Before Salim, Mahira was previously married to Ali Askari in 2007 and welcomed their first child, Azlan, in 2014 before parting ways in 2015.
