The devastation caused by heavy rains in Karachi on the second day of Eid resulted in people leaving their homes, which also affected the shows. The rush at all cinema sites in Karachi was 50% less than on the first day. This also affected the overall collection of films.
London Nahi Jaunga is getting a better response in Punjab, due to which the business of the film remained good even on the second day. London Nahi Jaunga for a total of 188 shows of the film in 53 cinemas across the country. He made a business of 18.5 million. The film has grossed a total of Rs 41.5 million (including Friday and Saturday special shows).
Quaid e Azam Zindabad is second with 170 shows in 52 cinemas. On the second day, the film grossed a total of Rs. 17 million. Thus Quaid e Azam Zindabad (including Friday and Saturday special shows) has made a business of 38 million.
The third Pakistani film of Eid, Lafangey, got very few shows on the second day as well. Many single-screen cinemas in Punjab closed the film due to a lack of business. On the second day of Eid, the film grossed only Rs 1.3 million. Thus, the total collection of the film is Rs 2.9 million.
The Hollywood movie Thor-Love & Thunder also dominated the second day of Eid with 112 shows in 40 cinemas. On the second day, the film’s collections stood at Rs 11.5 million. Despite not being screened in Rawalpindi and Islamabad cinemas, the four-day business of the film has grown to over Rs 76.5 million.
