Bigg Boss season 16 came to an end after holding the audience in its spell for 133 days. The drama was at its peak in the Bigg Boss house during this season which set new rating records on the Indian channel Colors but the season also ended in a dramatic way when the show’s host Salman Khan from Pune emerged famous rapper MC Stan as the winner called out. Born in a poor family, Altaf Sheikh aka MC Stein shot to fame in 2019 with his song Khuja Mat. In a short period, MC Stan has achieved a prominent position in Indian rap. Stan, who has been in the news many times, is said to wear expensive shoes, clothes, and a gold chain, worth over 15 million IR. MC Stan’s father is a police constable in Maharashtra.
During the sixteenth season of India’s biggest and most popular reality show, laughter and controversies were at their peak in the house and people watched the show with interest, but the grand finale of the season proved to be the best.
While Priyanka and Ankit‘s joint performance of Romeo and Juliet from Bigg Boss’ house warmed the hearts of the audience, Shiv and Priyanka’s powerhouse performance was also seen in the grand finale. The grand finale was also attended by all the stars who were eliminated from the show. During the show, the house-made mandli (group) Sajid Khan, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Tajik singer Abdurozik, Nimrat Kaur Ahluwalia, and Sumbul Touqeer Khan united, which was considered a symbol of friendship in the house.
The top five finalists of Bigg Boss 16 included Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, MC Stan, Shalin Bhanot, Archana Gautam, and Shiv Thakare. Out of which Shalin, Archana, and Priyanka were eliminated. In the final stage, the competition was between Stan and Shiv. According to the polls conducted before the grand finale of the show, the tough competition was expected between Shiv Thakare and Priyanka in the final, but a large circle was declaring Priyanka as the winner, but Priyanka could not even become the runner-up, while Shiv was also could not win the trophy. The winner of Bigg Boss season 16 was given prize money of rupees 2.18 million along with a trophy and a Hyundai car as a gift.
Big Boss Season 16 premiered on Colors TV on October 2022. Bigg Boss season 16 started with 20 stars. Salman Khan hosted the show for the thirteenth time. Unlike the previous seasons, some changes were made this time like the weekend war segment aired on Friday and Saturday instead of Saturday and Sunday. For the first time, the eviction took place on Saturday instead of Sunday. The five-hour grand finale aired on 12 February 2023.
This time the Bigg Boss house was given a circus theme. This set was installed in Gurgaon, Mumbai. It had 4 bedrooms. Apart from the fire room, black and white room, cards room, and vintage room, for the first time in the history of Bigg Boss, a magnificent private jacuzzi was also built for the captain. The house prison was designed as a death well placed in a gallows position above the swimming pool.
