-

Rava Documentary Films hosted a successful screening of their latest documentary, “Flight 544”, at The Arena Cinema in Bahria Tower. The event drew a notable crowd of media professionals and Karachi’s elite, highlighting the importance of shedding light on Pakistan’s overlooked history and culture.

“Flight 544” revisits the hijacking incident of PIA’s flight PK-544 in 1998, highlighting the courageous actions of SSP Hyderabad Akhtar Hassan Gorchani, Deputy Commissioner Sohil Akbar Shah, ASP Dr Usman Anwar, Captain Uzair Khan, and Major Amir of ISI in preventing the hijacking. The documentary aligns with Pakistan’s significant nuclear tests, which occurred shortly after the hijacking.

Rava Documentary Films aims to enhance knowledge and admiration of Pakistan’s cultural legacy through documentary films. “Flight 544” highlights the bravery and accomplishments of individuals who have influenced the nation’s history.

Additionally, Rava Documentary Films will be presenting films featuring Iqbal Masih, Nani Hangalaj Mandar, and the final Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar in 2024.
