A shooting incident during the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner has raised fresh concerns about security and possible international links. Authorities have identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen, while unverified claims have emerged regarding his wife, Priyanka Rao.
According to recent reports, Priyanka Rao, aged 31, was born in Hyderabad, located in the Indian state of Telangana. It is further claimed that her passport lists an address in Paharganj, Delhi.

Some sources allege that she may have had links with India’s external intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), and could still be operating undercover in the United States. However, these claims remain unverified and have not been confirmed by any official or credible authority.
Following the incident, security agencies have widened their investigation, examining the suspect’s personal and possible international connections. Speculation has also surfaced in some circles suggesting that former U.S. President Donald Trump could have been a potential target, though no concrete evidence has been presented.
U.S. officials have emphasized that it would be premature to attribute responsibility to any foreign agency or country before the investigation is complete. Experts have urged the public and media to rely on verified information and avoid spreading unconfirmed reports.
