The film is fast moving towards the 100 crore mark, creating new business records worldwide. If it happens, it will be the first Pakistani film to open the door to the 100-crore club. The Legend of Maula Jatt has collected Rs 800.08 million rupees worldwide in its first week, which is the record business of any Pakistani film so far. Despite getting limited screens only in the domestic circuit i.e. Pakistan, The Legend of Maula Jatt has made a business of Rs 200.3 million rupees.
This Punjabi film, which was released on 500 screens in 25 countries, made a weekend business of 110.30 million rupees in Pakistan alone, while it closed the weekend with 500.91 million rupees worldwide. By the end of the weekend in the Gulf countries, the film has collected 110.58 million rupees. While in other countries they did a business of 50.6 million rupees.
At the end of the first week at the box office, The Legend of Maula Jatt stood at number one in the ratings in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. The film debuted at number six in Canada, number eight in Australia, and number nine at the UK box office.
The Legend of Maula Jatt is the first Pakistani film to have such a massive worldwide release. In addition to 17 states of America, this film has been released in Canada, Spain, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Netherlands, and Denmark, in addition to Gulf countries Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, United Arab Emirates. From October 21, the film is also releasing in four other territories Kuwait, France, Ghana, and Mauritius.
At the end of the first week, The Legend of Maula Jutt collected Rs 203 million in Pakistan, Rs 160 million in Gulf countries, Rs 140 million in the UK, Rs 100 million in the US, Rs 80 million in Canada, Rs 50 million in Australia, while in other territories the business has done a total of 80 million rupees. The Legend of Maula Jutt is likely to become the first Pakistani film to cross the 100-crore mark by the second weekend.
