Yasir Shoro Joins the Cast of Pakistan’s First Digital Sindhi Feature Film MARVI

The casting process for Pakistan’s first digital Sindhi feature film, MARVI, is nearing completion, with acclaimed television actor Yasir Shoro becoming the latest addition to the film’s ensemble.

Sharing the announcement, Umar Khitab Khan, the writer and director of MARVI, expressed his excitement over Shoro’s inclusion in the project and voiced confidence in the actor’s future on the silver screen.

“I believe MARVI will be a turning point in Yasir Shoro’s career. He has already established himself as a talented television actor, and I am confident that after this film, he will emerge as a star of the big screen as well,” Khan said.

The filmmaker also revealed that while developing the screenplay, he had envisioned specific actors for each character, and Yasir Shoro was among the performers he had in mind from the very beginning.

“When I started writing MARVI, I created each character with a particular actor in mind. Fortunately, almost all of those artists have now become part of the film. Yasir Shoro was one of those names, and I am delighted that the vision I had while writing the script is now becoming a reality,” he added.

MARVI is being produced as Pakistan’s first digital Sindhi feature film and aims to celebrate Sindh’s rich cultural heritage through a contemporary cinematic approach. With casting now almost complete, the project is expected to move into the next phase of production soon.

Umar Khitab Khan concluded by extending his best wishes to Yasir Shoro and expressed optimism that the actor’s performance in MARVI would leave a lasting impression on audiences.
