The Lahore High Court got 10 judges on Tuesday. They took their oath to do their job.
The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court Aalia Neelum was the one who gave them the oath. This happened at a ceremony, in Lahore. The new judges are Justice Farhad Ali Shah, Justice Amjad Pervaiz, Justice Usman Ghani Rashid and Justice Asad Bajwa.
Some other judges also took their oath. These judges are Justice Khalid bin Aziz, Justice Shireen Imran and Justice Ameer Ajam Malik.
There were a few judges who took their oath. These judges are Justice Ghulam Sarwar Nahang, Justice Munawar Iqbal Dogar and Justice Ajmal Khan Zahid.
A lot of people came to see the new judges take their oath. These people included Prosecutor General Punjab Irfan Sadiq Tarar, the Punjab advocate general and the families of the Lahore High Court judges.
BHC conducts oath ceremony for three newly appointed additional judges
Meanwhile, Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Malakhail administered the oath to three newly appointed Additional Judges on Tuesday.
The judges who took the oath were Muhammad Rauf, Allah Dad Roshan and Abdul Qayyum Lehri.
The BHC’s judges, the advocate general, judicial officers, office-bearers of lawyers’ bodies, senior lawyers and others attended the ceremony.
