More than 100,000 students in Pakistan have received their results for the June 2026 Cambridge International examination series.
Cambridge International said over 100,000 candidates from than 850 schools across Pakistan took its AS & A Level O Level and IGCSE examinations this year.
Globally 368,000 students received their Cambridge International AS & A Level results on Tuesday while results for Cambridge IGCSE and O Level candidates will be announced on August 18. Than 315,000 students worldwide are expected to receive those results.
In Pakistan the examinations covered a range of subjects with Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry and Computer Science among the most popular choices.
Cambridge Group Managing Director for International Education Rod Smith congratulated students receiving their results. Said the growing popularity of AS & A Levels reflected the value of combining academic knowledge with skills sought by universities and employers.
He said the continued rise in demand for the qualifications demonstrated their relevance as artificial intelligence reshapes the environment.
Uzma Yousuf, Cambridge Internationals Country Director for Pakistan also congratulated students. Acknowledged the challenges many candidates faced while preparing for their examinations.
“This has not been a year ” Yousuf said, noting that some students had prepared for their exams amid regional tensions, uncertainty and disruption.
She said these circumstances made the students achievements significant and encouraged learners to take time to recognise their hard work.
Yousuf also praised teachers, parents and school communities across Pakistan for their role in supporting students throughout the year.
She said Cambridges approach to education extends beyond examination results focusing on helping young people develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed for education careers and everyday life.
Cambridge said its International AS & A Level qualifications are accepted by universities organisations and government institutions around the world.
The organisation also highlighted UCAS application figures, which showed that 98% of Cambridge International A Level students who applied to UK universities during the 2025 admissions cycle received, at least one offer.
Smith said Cambridge qualifications provide students with opportunities whether they decide to pursue education in Pakistan or overseas while equipping them to navigate an increasingly fast-changing world.
