Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will mark Kashmir Exploitation Day today (Wednesday) to show support for the Kashmiri people.
A one-minute silence will take place at 9am throughout the country. Sirens will be. Vehicles will stop for one minute during the silence.
This day is being marked on the anniversary of the day India removed the special constitutional status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019.
Under the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif people across Pakistan will take part in a one-minute silence at 9am to show support for the Kashmiri people. Sirens will be sounded during the silence and traffic will also be stopped for one minute.
Rallies, marches, seminars, conferences, prayer meetings and photo exhibitions will take place in provincial capitals, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and other cities.
Essay writing and speech contests will also be held to focus on the fight of the Kashmiri people. National and Kashmiri flags will be raised on government buildings.
Pakistan’s embassies overseas will hold events to bring global attention to the situation, in occupied Kashmir.
ISPR: Armed forces reaffirm support for the people of Kashmir
The Pakistan Armed Forces have said they will always stand with the Kashmiri people on Kashmir Exploitation Day.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said this.
Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Services Chiefs said they support the Kashmiri people.
They want the Kashmiri people to have the right to decide what they want.
The Pakistan Armed Forces will keep supporting the Kashmiri people.
They think what is happening in occupied Kashmir is not right.
The military is treating the Kashmiri people badly. This is a big problem.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said India is trying to change who lives in occupied Kashmir.
This is not good for the region. It can cause big problems.
The Pakistan Armed Forces said there will not be peace, in South Asia until the Kashmir problem is solved.
The solution should be what the Kashmiri people want. It should follow United Nations rules.
The people of Pakistan and the Pakistan Armed Forces will always stand with the Kashmiri people.
The Pakistan Armed Forces also remembered the people who died in occupied Kashmir.
They said Pakistan will always support the Kashmiri peoples right to decide what they want.
The Pakistan Armed Forces will do this at every level. They will always support the Kashmiri people.
