Pakistan Expresses Concern Over Rising Regional Tensions

Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Sovereignty of Regional Brotherly Nations

The Foreign Office said that Pakistan supports the freedom and territorial integrity of all countries that’re like brothers to us in the region. They want all sides to be careful and take steps to reduce tensions now. Pakistan also wants all sides to keep the promises they made in the Islamabad agreement.

The Foreign Office said that Pakistan will keep helping to achieve peace and stability in the region. They think this can be done by talking to each other and being diplomatic.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said something. He wants all parties to reduce tensions just like they agreed to in the Islamabad agreement. Ishaq Dar thinks that talking to each other and being diplomatic is the way to solve problems.

Dar Holds Talks with Saudi Envoy on Regional Situation

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Reaffirm Commitment to Stronger Bilateral Ties

Ishaq Dar said something during the meeting. He thinks it is necessary to work to get Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to talk to each other and be friends.

Both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia said they will keep working on making their relationship stronger. They want to have relations, between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Dar Calls for Restraint in Phone Talks with Iranian Foreign Minister

Earlier in a phone call with Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar said everyone should calm down and be patient under the Islamabad MoU. He said talking and using diplomacy are still the ways to solve problems. The best way is, through dialogue and diplomacy Ishaq Dar added.

CENTCOM Says US Forces Struck 140 Iranian Targets

Meanwhile the United States Central Command said that 140 military targets in Iran were hit during the third phase of operations against the country.

The US military said these latest strikes happened because another commercial ship was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States Central Command said US forces used weapons from fighter jets, drones and ships to target Iran.

The command also said that over 300 targets, in Iran were hit during three operations this week to make it harder for Iran to attack ships going through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran Reaffirms Firm Position on Strait of Hormuz Traffic

Iran is being very clear about the ships that go through the Strait of Hormuz. They say that this waterway will stay closed until the United States stops getting involved.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps took action against a ship that tried to go through the Strait of Hormuz without following the rules. The ship was using a route that it was not supposed to use. This is not allowed, according to Iran.
