A new spell of monsoon rains is going to come to the central parts of Pakistan from August 13 to 15. Pakistan is going to get a lot of rain and thunderstorms. These monsoon rains will affect Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The National Disaster Management Authority has told people to be careful. They think there will be flash floods, flooding and landslides during this time. The National Disaster Management Authority is warning people about these flash floods, urban flooding and landslides.
There will be rain with thunderstorms in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. Central Punjab will have winds and dust storms. The National Disaster Management Authority has warned people about flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Urban flooding is also a concern in parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The authorities are worried, about flooding in streams and landslides in hilly areas. So they are telling people to be careful. Some areas where urban flooding is a concern are Sialkot, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Mardan and Swabi.
People who live in these areas and tourists need to be careful. Most parts of Sindh and Balochistan will be hot and humid. The monsoon rains will not affect these areas much.
