Another Rs2 billion will be used for development projects managed by the Cabinet Division.
For the Establishment Division around Rs1.7 billion has been suggested for projects.
These projects include:
- Rs56 million to improve Parliament Lodges
- Rs5.5 billion to fix and modernize the National Archives of Pakistan
- Rs194 million to use energy and make things more energy efficient
- More than Rs1.58 billion for the Islamabad Technopolis project
- Over Rs700 million to make the Federal Public Service Commissions examination system digital
- Rs167 million for a hostel for working women in Islamabad
- More than Rs820 million for places for women officers to live
These projects are part of the governments plan for development in the next year.
The timeline for presenting the budget is still not clear.
