Hisaar Foundation held its AGM with Board members, Council members, and staff in attendance, here earlier today. The governors’ report shared on the occasion highlighted the achievements of the Foundation in the last year. While exceeding its project and fundraising targets, the Foundation deployed innovative hand-operated ultrafiltration systems in remote areas, held a highly successful 6th Karachi International Water Conference, and conceptualized the National Water Panel to be launched globally in Nov 2024. Its Adopt a School program also gained significant momentum in the past year, while MoCC has taken up its Community Ponds concept through the Living Indus initiative. However, the greatest feather in Hisaar Foundation’s cap in the outgoing year has been the Panjwani-Hisaar Water Institute, the grey structure has been completed despite inflation and unexpected soaring prices, and where master courses have already commenced. One of the few organizations delivering excellent service in the water sector for two decades, Hisaar Foundation has made its name globally and earned respect for the country as a key player in combatting the challenges of climate change.
As Hisaar Foundation looks to the future, it remains committed to ensuring sustainable water management and access to clean water for all, continuing its vital work in addressing Pakistan’s pressing water challenges through innovative solutions and community-driven initiatives.
