The prices of gold and silver in Pakistan and the global market went down a little after there was an increase the day before.
The price of 24-karat gold, per tola, went down by Rs100 on Saturday, making the new price Rs460,236 according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Also, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went down by Rs85. Now it is Rs 394,578.
Global gold prices
The drop in price was not just in Pakistan. I saw that across the world, the price of gold slipped by one dollar, landing at $4,377 per ounce.
Silver Rates in Pakistan
Silver prices also moved in the same direction. The price of 24-karat silver went down by Rs69. Was now available for Rs7,100. In a way, the rate for 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs59 and was sold for Rs6,087.
