Security Forces Rush to Karachi’s Gulistan-i-Jauhar After Reports of Firing and Explosion

On Saturday the police in Karachi rushed to Gulistan-i-Jauhar after they got reports of firing and an explosion in that area according to Metro Live News.

The police sent teams like the Rapid Response Force and police commandos to the spot to control the situation the news channel said.

The whole area was blocked by the police and other security people according to reports. Far we do not know if anyone got hurt but rescue teams have also gone to the spot.

Rescue 1122 Sindh got a call about an explosion near Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 5 so they sent their teams to the spot away from their main office.

The Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and were waiting for instructions their spokesperson said. The Chief Operating Officer, Dr Abid Jalaluddin Sheikh was also sent to the spot by the Chief Ministers Adviser on Rehabilitation, Gyan Chand Essrani and the Director General of Rescue 1122 Brigadier Wajid Sibghatullah.

The Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the reports of an explosion and firing near Mosamiat Chowrangi on Saturday and asked for a report his spokesperson said.

The Chief Minister called the Sindh police chief and the Karachi additional inspector general. Told them to make sure the police go to the spot and find out what happened.

The Sindh Home Minister, Ziaul Hasan Lanjar also took notice of what happened in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Asked the additional inspector general for a detailed report. He told them to send all the details soon as possible according to the Home Department.
