Pakistan’s experienced tennis players showed performance at the ITF Masters World Championship in Lisbon, Portugal, and won four medals in various events.
Aisam-ul-Haq was the player who won the mixed doubles world title with Austria’s Nina Hermann. Pakistan also got two silver medals and one bronze.

The Austrian team beat the top-seeded team from Portugal in the final to keep their championship title. The final result was 4-6 3-6.
This win was another success for Aisam-ul-Haq on the international Masters tennis scene.
Aisam and Aqeel secure silver in 45+ doubles
Pakistan also won a silver medal in the men’s 45-plus doubles competition.
Aisam-ul-Haq and another Pakistani tennis star named Aqeel Khan worked together to have a campaign before ending up as the runners-up in the event.
Their performance brought another medal to Pakistan’s count at the Lisbon championship.
Silver medal at the World Team Championship
Pakistan’s medal count also included a medal in the men’s 45-plus World Team Championship.

Aqeel Khan brought a medal to Pakistan by taking bronze in the 40-plus mixed doubles event. His performance finished Pakistan’s four-medal collection at the ITF Masters World Championship in Lisbon.
