Dr. Khalid Bin Shaheen has been nominated as a member of the Academic Council of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law (SZABUL).
According to an official notification issued by the university, the Chief Minister of Sindh has nominated Dr. Khalid Bin Shaheen as a member of the university’s Academic Council under the notification issued by the Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, dated July 24, 2026.
The nomination is for a period of three years and will take effect from July 24, 2026.
Dr. Khalid Bin Shaheen has been recognized as a distinguished personality with a long-standing association with the field of arts. His inclusion in the Academic Council reflects recognition of his academic, artistic, and administrative contributions.
Under the University Act, the Academic Council is a key academic body of the university. It plays an important role in matters relating to teaching, research, examinations, and the overall quality and development of the university’s academic and scholarly activities.
The nomination of Dr. Khalid Bin Shaheen to the Academic Council is being regarded as an important development and an acknowledgment of his longstanding service and contributions to the academic, artistic, and administrative spheres.
