Pakistani actors have shared glimpses from their humanitarian visit to Jordan, where they partnered with UK-registered charity SKT Welfare to support Palestinians displaced from Gaza.
The five-day mission, held from September 29 to October 3, featured several prominent actors, including Jawed Sheikh, Khaled Anam, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Ally Khan, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Nabeel Zafar.
As part of the mission, the delegation assisted in preparing and distributing more than 500 boxes containing essential non-perishable food supplies to Palestinian refugee families from Gaza. They also visited Palestinian patients undergoing medical treatment in Jordan and spent time with them and their families.
The actors shared photos and videos from their visit on Instagram, documenting their humanitarian efforts with SKT Welfare and their interactions with families displaced by the conflict.
According to Khaled Anam’s account of the humanitarian mission, a number of the families receiving support included children who had sustained injuries during the conflict, as well as those being treated for serious medical conditions such as cancer and heart disease.
In the caption accompanying his post, he wrote, “Between September 29 and October 3, 2026, the SKT Welfare organised and deployed a team of actors from Pakistan for a moving mission to Jordan to support displaced women and children from Gaza. From packing to personally visiting and delivering essential non-perishable food ration boxes to over 500 Gazan refugee families having children either injured during the conflict or with severe medical conditions like cancer, heart problems etc., in hospitals and their temporary abode.”
For the Pakistani delegation, one of the most meaningful moments of the trip was an afternoon dedicated to children receiving cancer treatment. SKT Welfare arranged games, recreational activities, and a hot meal for the children, allowing them to take a break from the difficulties of medical treatment and displacement.
In his Instagram post, Anam said the visit gave the delegation an opportunity to “listen, comfort, and stand in solidarity” with Palestinians from Gaza.
The organisation also offers continued support to patients who travel to Jordan to receive medical treatment. This assistance includes accommodation, food, and transportation, enabling patients to travel to hospitals and attend necessary medical appointments while being away from their homes.
Saba Hamid, Nabeel Zafar and Shagufta Ejaz also posted photos from the humanitarian mission on their respective Instagram accounts. Their updates captured scenes from the relief activities along with glimpses of the group’s stay in Jordan.
The delegation’s visit to Jordan took place as Palestinian patients and their families continue to face the challenges of medical treatment and displacement away from Gaza. Through its operations in Jordan, SKT Welfare says it remains committed to supporting Palestinians evacuated for medical care, while its broader relief efforts also reach communities within Gaza.
The actors’ social media posts have since given their followers a closer view of the mission, highlighting both the aid provided and the personal interactions they shared with Palestinian families and children during their time in Jordan.
