Pakistan and Pakistan have promised to keep working to make security better increase trade and improve investment relationships.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had a phone call with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to talk about peace in the region the situation in the Gulf and the relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz asked about Anwar Ibrahims health. Wished him a quick and complete recovery. The two leaders were happy with the progress in their relationship and agreed to work more to increase trade and investment, between Pakistan and Malaysia.
They also talked about the situation in the region especially what is happening in the Gulf. Anwar Ibrahim said things about Pakistans work to keep the region peaceful. He showed thanks for the leadership and the hard work of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said thank you to his friend for Malaysias ongoing support to keep the region peaceful. He said Pakistan will keep working with Malaysia and other countries that are like brothers and friends to help bring peace.
The prime minister also asked Anwar Ibrahim again to come to Pakistan on a visit as soon, as possible.
Malaysian interior minister meets PM Shehbaz
In a meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Malaysian Home Minister Dato’ Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail. I was glad to see Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convey his wishes for Anwar Ibrahim asking about Anwar Ibrahim’s health and praying for Anwar Ibrahim’s speedy recovery. Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthen brotherly ties between Pakistan and Malaysia in all fields. Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized the need for cooperation, in security, trade and investment.
Both sides talked about how Pakistan and Malaysia work and what is happening in the region right now. The prime minister was happy to see how Malaysia supports the work Pakistan does to keep peace in the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also watched as the leaders signed the Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons, between Pakistan and Malaysia.
The agreement was signed by Malaysian Home Minister Dato’ Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Pakistan’s Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi in Islamabad.
