The vote count for the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections is underway after the close of polling. Preliminary and unofficial results are starting to pour in from various polling stations.
GBA 1 Gilgit 1:
Preliminary and unofficial results from 80 polling stations of GBA 1 Gilgit 1 shows PPP’s Amjad Hussain taking lead with 873 votes while PML-N’s Muhammad Shafiquddin is at second with 473 votes.
GBA 2 GB 2:
Unofficial results from 27 of the 91 polling stations of GBA 2 Gilgit Baltistan shows PML-N’s Hafeez-ur-Rehman at first place with 4,129 votes followed by PPP’s Jamil Ahmed with 2,695.
GBA 3 Gilgit Baltistan:
Preliminary and unofficial results from 20 of the 82 polling stations of GBA-3 Gilgit-3 shows PPP’s Aftab Haider Advocate leading with 2097 votes while the independent candidate Syed Sohail Abbas trails behind with 1934 votes.
GBA 4 Nagar-1:
Preliminary and unofficial results from 24 of the 53 polling stations of GBA 4 Nagar-1 shows PPP’s Muhammad Ali Akhtar taking lead with 3003 votes while PTI’s Muhammad Ayub Waziri is at second place with 2832 votes.
GBA 5 Nagar-2:
Unofficial results from 10 of the 32 polling stations of GBA 5 Nagar-2 shows independent candidate Jahangir Shah with 743 votes taking lead over the PML-N’s Javed Ali Manwa who is at second with 560 votes.
GBA 6 Hunza:
Unofficial results from 12 of the 88 polling stations of GBA 6 Hunza shows independent candidate Neknam Karim at first place with 937 votes while independent candidate Raja Nazim-ul-Amin is at second with 478 votes.
GBA 7Score-1:
Preliminary and unofficial results from 13 of the 31 polling stations of GBA 7 Skardu-1 shows Stability Pakistan Party’s Raja Jalal Hussain Khan with 1862 votes while the PPP’s Syed Tauqir Mehdi stands at second place with 1610 votes.
GBA 8Score-2:
Preliminary and unofficial unconfirmed results from 8 of the 70 polling stations of GBA 8 Skardu-2 show MWM’s Muhammad Kazim leading with 1,228 votes while PPP’s Syed Muhammad Ali Shah takes the second position with 936 votes.
GBA 9 Score-3:
Preliminary and unofficial unconfirmed results from 9 of the 54 polling stations of GBA 9 Skardu-3 shows PPP’s Fida Muhammad Nashad at first position with 1870 votes while independent candidate Wazir Muhammad Saleem is at second place with 1061 votes.
GBA 10 Score-4:
Preliminary results from 2 of the 51 polling stations of GBA 10 Skardu-4 shows PPP’s Nasir Ali Khan taking the lead with 137 votes while MWM’s Mushtaq Hussain is at the second position with 92 votes.
