Iran has been attacking ships from the United Arab Emirates in the past few weeks. This started after a peace agreement broke down a month ago.
The United Arab Emirates said on Tuesday that it is stopping all trade and financial dealings with Iran. This is because Iran attacked the United Arab Emirates ships with a missile.
The people who organize the Offlimits music festival said they are cancelling it. The festival was supposed to happen in November. Shakira was going to perform. They will give people their money back for the tickets.
The festival website said “We look forward to bringing the Offlimits community again in 2027.” They did not say why they cancelled the festival.
Something else happened on Tuesday. The website Ticketmaster said that Christina Aguileras concert on September 25 is cancelled. They did not say when it will happen again. The people who reported this are from the United Arab Emirates media.
The Offlimits festival and Christina Aguileras concert were first supposed to happen in April.. Then they were postponed.
The United Arab Emirates and other countries near it have been having a lot of problems. Iran has been attacking them times. Even though the United Arab Emirates is usually a place it has been hard for them to recover from these attacks. Not many people are visiting the United Arab Emirates and going to events like music festivals. This is because people are scared of the attacks, on the United Arab Emirates..
