Gold and silver prices in Pakistan and international markets continued their upward trend on Friday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,800 per tola, reaching Rs440,636.
Meanwhile, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs2,401 to Rs377,774. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also increased by Rs2,201, bringing it to Rs346,305.
Global Gold Prices
The upward trend was also evident in the international bullion market, where gold prices climbed by $28 to reach $4,181 per ounce.
Silver Rates in Pakistan
Silver prices in Pakistan followed a similar upward trend. The rate of 24-karat silver increased by Rs108, reaching Rs6,256. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs93 to settle at Rs5,363.
