On Thursday twenty-nine countries signed a deal to start the World AI Cooperation Organization. This organization is supported by China. Its goal is to work together with other countries and make rules for artificial intelligence around the world.
People from the countries that are starting this organization, including Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Cuba, Brazil, Venezuela and many countries from Africa and Asia signed the deal in Shanghai. This is what Chinas state news agency Xinhua said.
The World AI Cooperation Organization will be based in Shanghai. Its main job is to help countries work together on intelligence. This includes making rules for how artificial intelligence’s developed and used.
The deal was signed before the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Chinese President Xi Jinping is going to talk about Chinas plan for intelligence rules at this conference.
China talked about starting the World AI Cooperation Organization at years conference.. Until Thursday no countries had officially joined. Now twenty-nine countries are part of this organization. The World AI Cooperation Organization is a deal, for artificial intelligence.
Pakistan-China Strategic Partnership
The Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had a meeting with Pakistans Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Shanghai after they signed some papers. They both said they want to work more on artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is the way of the future Wang Yi said. It will change a lot of things for countries and for people.
China is willing to work with countries that think like they do to make sure artificial intelligence is used for good things and helps everyone.
This meeting showed that China and Pakistan are working together more on new technologies, like artificial intelligence. China wants other countries to join in and help make rules for intelligence.
