Katrina Kaif as Firdaus in Fitoor

29

Well, Katrina Kaif sure is on a roll! Unlike how guarded she was about her personal life, she is giving out a lot of scoop and opinions out in the open. Something we never really expected the diva to do! There has been some major transformation taken place behind this lassie’s glamorous new avatar. Perhaps gained some inspiration from certain someone? Well, we don’t know whether it was the breakup that called for this surge in a complete 360 degrees change in the actress but something has definitely keyed her to alter herself. Not that we’re complaining. Katrina was always the kind to stand tall and zip up when asked personal questions and always had this aura of mystery around her but all that’s in the past now. And somehow that’s a lot like the character she plays in the film!

Yes! In this behind the scenes video shared by the film, we saw Katrina open up about her character in the film who shares a lot of resemblance to her old self. Just as mentioned, Kat has always given us an intriguing glance at her personal life but never really revealed anything. In the film too, her character Firdaus is someone who is very guarded about her emotions and a person can never really read her mind. The actress also revealed that the name of her character, Firdaus is a unisex name and it completely justifies what she’s playing as the role asks for Katrina to be like a man. Not physically of course but with respect to strength, clarity, ruthlessness, to be distant and emotionally unavailable. Katrina speaks of how the director actually kept hammering the thought that Firdaus is like a guy.
