HUM Masala celebrates 11th anniversary

After achieving yet another milestone by becoming the first Pakistani culinary TV channel to start its transmission in the UK and Europe, South Asia’s first and Pakistan’s only 24-hour food channel HUM Masala celebrated its 11th successful year in Karachi.

The live anniversary transmission was graced by prominent personalities of Pakistan’s entertainment industry including Shaista Lodhi, Kaif Ghaznavi, Yasir Hussain, Ramsha Khan, Arshad Mehmood, Sanam Jung, Mona Imran, Misbah Khalid, Nabeel Zuberi and many others. HUM Masala’s widespread following once again became obvious, with live callers taking immense interest in the show and congratulating HUM Masala on its 11th successful years on air.

Celebrated ex-Pakistan cricketer and sultan of swing Wasim Akram along with his beautiful wife Shaniera Akram, also joined in to be a part of the grand 11th anniversary celebrations. Shaniera and Waseem Akram also took part in a cooking competitions along with CEO HUM Network, Duraid Qureshi, Sanam Jung and Shaista Lodhi. The event culminated with President HUM Network Sultana Siddiqui cutting the 200 lb cake, with the HUM Masala crew.

HUM Masala is not only immensely popular in Pakistan but has received overwhelming response in the UK and Europe region as well, and the 11th anniversary celebration is a testament of the channel’s dedication to provide its audience with a wide range of Pakistani and continental cuisines. The credit goes to HUM Network, under the management of which the channel has maintained its quality of cooking shows aired since its inception 11 years ago. As the pioneer 24-hour cooking channel in Pakistan, Masala has set high standards for its current and future competitors.
